CHCF is proud to announce that it will co-host the World Forum 2010 in New York City next year!

World Forum 2010 will be a four-day long international summit co-hosted by CHCF and the International Forum for Child Welfare (IFCW), a world organization comprised of non-governmental organizations with special interest in child welfare. CHCF's Executive Director Elba Montalvo serves on the IFCW's Executive Committee as Secretary.

Leaders of IFCW member organizations, as well as other institutions and individuals will come together to share experience, knowledge, latest developments, and concern about child welfare with the goal of improving the well being of children all over the world.

Tenth Annual "A Slice of Latin America" Gala

On March 10, 2010 at The Plaza Hotel, New York City's most celebrated chefs once again presented a sampling of their own Latin-inspired masterpieces at our Tenth Annual "A Slice of Latin America" Gala.

Matilda Raffa Cuomo, Former First Lady of New York State (1983-1995), and the Founder and Chairperson of Mentoring USA-Mentoring USA/Italia, and Michael Rodríguez, President of Alliance Building Services, were honored at the event, which featured delicious food, music and dancing.
