CHCF celebrates the graduation ceremony for participants of its Padres Comprometidos con CHISPA program.
Padres Comprometidos con CHISPA (Children Investigating Science with Parents After School) is a national collaboration among NCLR, ASPIRA, and a network of the American Museum of Natural History working to increase family engagement in science through hands-on science activities, in spanish and English, in elementary school. This program helps parents become knowledgeable about STEM and provide parents with tools to navigate in the school system and become active partners with the school teachers, and administrators. Parents had a special evening where they shared their testimonies and celebrated their accomplishments. CHCF staff, school administrators, parents and special friends participated in this amazing event.
