Welcome to CHCF’s Children & Families Blog!
Our blog is a space where experts, advocates and program providers in CHCF’s focus areas—youth development, early education and related policy—can shed light on service provision, policy and social issues in these areas.
As a grassroots organization in New York City’s non-profit community, CHCF is proud to work with community leaders and experts who are shaping a better future for our city every day. To advance CHCF and its partners’ work, we hope this blog will foster larger discussions about the social conditions underlying Latino child and youth development outcomes; the assets that immigrant communities and communities of color bring to our City’s institutions; and the steps that social service non-profits and policymakers can take to help communities thrive.
CHCF welcomes contributions from across New York City’s non-profit and academic communities. If you feel your work is a good fit with CHCF’s mission and the goals of this space, and you would like to be a contributing Blog Author, please contact Abe Barranca, Policy and Communications Associate.
